Byers was on loan at Blackpool last season and their fans rated him. They thought they were going to sign him and can’t believe he’s come to use in League 2. Played for Moore at Sheffield Wed.

I asked in a Championship group what he was like and they all say top end League One player easy and Blackpool fans said he was really good for them.

One lardy piped up though......still obsessed with us

At Swansea they were Premier when he was initially there as a youngster. 

Other than Swansea he's played a lot. 

 

That's the same as Wiki. 153 games

I think a lot of that has to do with the fact he joined Swansea as a youngster when they were a premier league side so he was limited to appearances & spent 5 seasons with them. Two other clubs were loans where he’s played quite a bit & then he spent 3 years at Sheffield Wednesday where he averaged around 25 games a season which I don’t think is too shabby when in a strong promotion chasing side & competing with the likes of Barry Bannan. This is a huge signing for us 👌🏻

Not sure if people are expecting Nathan smith-esque levels of appearances but hit around 30 appearances for a season in a good squad and I think that’s the minimum we should expect and about right.

In 5 1/2 years it's not disastrous is it. Bear in mind he's not always been a regular. 

Wednesday fans say some of them would keep him in the Championship.

Blackpool fans seething they’ve not signed him permanently.

Key player in the 96 point League 1 season and his injury was a big miss as they fell short of automatics.

Only concern is his fitness record on a 3 year deal - but that’s what we’d needed to offer to get him.

This is the best transfer window of our 21st century. That doesn’t mean it’ll work - but the calibre of player is much higher than anything we’ve done before.

It’s more than 153. Wiki totals league appearances first and then the cup extra are added over to the right. That screen shot I put on is from FotMob which gives total appearances, assists and goals for their career.
