If there's any outgoings i just hope it's NOT the players i'd like to see here next season, like, Chizzy/Garrity.. [emoji848]

But the right players leaving and the better players staying.

This week will be interesting.  Wonder what the pre-season training will look like under DM and Co.

I guess it's other clubs who will dictate that and how much they offer. You would expect some interest in both players

Totally agree and I think DM would want to keep his best players.

I am sure it will be a tough pre season

I wonder how many will have letters from their mums, saying that they can’t take part in training, for one reason and another.

Wonder if it will be one like Micky Adams used to give the players on coming back after the break, where some of the players said they threw up after some of the runs.  🤣

Not a chance 😆

So now we have made a few signings, who do you think we could see leave?

- Lowe - would still do a job at league 2 but could see him wanting guaranteed playing time at this stage of his career.

- Loft - If he leaves we could do with another striker. Just think he needs a reset for his own good. Atleast with getting two decent strikers in early it sends a clear message where he would be in the pecking order.

- Grant - Don't think he has the physicality / pace personally and was the most disappointing of our signings last year based on what we expected. Also feel like we are more likely to play 4 at the back, on the basis we have signed Curtis as a winger. Really didn't rate grant at LB and hope he has enough pride to sign elsewhere instead of sitting and picking up a wage.

- Sang - feel a bit bad for him in that we never really played him in CM. I do actually like him but not good enough defensively to be a RB. At the moment we seem well stocked in centre mid, so could see us accepting him to move on if the finances stack up.

- Jones - Think on his day he is better than iaccoviti but unfortunately is injured too often.

I do think we might have a few more signings lined up (CB and back up keeper) but would expect them to be more in the 'hart' mold than marquee signings. Also potentially approaching that tipping point where to do more than that, we need players to leave.

Charlie Wyke to Carlisle is some deal.

Certainly an impressive addition for Carlisle that. Perfectly content with Stockley and Tolaj for us though, one of whom all being well we can make good money on in the future.

Seen Walsall confirmed Josh Gordon on a two year deal today. Reaction has been mixed from what I’ve seen from their fans.

I bet there are things in place in this now modern culture that wont allow things like that any more

Dangerous on his day Gordon is. I'm surprised he didn't score more for Walsall on loan, 1 in 20 I'm not surprised their fans are a bit split!  Unless he's always looked good against us, then again Loft could sign for Walsall and turn into Drogba for 90 minutes when they play us.  Our ultimate bogey side!😱
