Always fancy the team going into the play offs on the back of a good run. Whereas Crewe seem to have blown promotion despite being up there for a large part of the season. It does appear that injuries dented their challenge.

Pretty young side as well. Need a bit of experience in these situations.

Smith, Massey ( league 1 😳 ) Grant & Jones somehow all have promotions from league 2 on their CV’s so that’s not actually a bad shout 😂 Uche has played for them before but I couldn’t see even them being daft enough to have him back

Wow we’re casting the net far and wide for next season. I’ve been offered a medical at Tommy Cheadle’s tomorrow. I hope this isn’t a sign that we’ve blown next seasons transfer budget. Even at 60, I believe I can bring more to the party than Jones, Sang or Funslow.

The first requirement in the medical should be can you kick a ball with either foot.

Yes. I used to arrange the bins in front of my parents garage door, which were the goals, so that I had to use my left foot to get around the bins. Is that enough, also I can pass the ball to a team mate.

To be honest on that criteria congratulations you’re our new club captain. Just need to get old Ted who chased the ref to sign now to add some pace up top and can book the open top bus tour now.

From memory in Tiger or Scorcher, before they amalgamated. There were two brothers Jimmy of City and Jack of United. I’m sure one of them improved their weaker foot by wearing a football boot on that foot and a plimsol on the natural dominant foot. Not sure, if it’s not something that we can’t introduce into training. I think I’ll forward this suggestion to DM.?

I reckon you would still score more goals than Loft and Uche combined but because of your age we can only offer you a 2 year contract.  Are you National League ready ? Trust the Process.
