I think a lot depends on peoples parking situation and the need to get home?

 

Also you can also see how the game is panning out and that makes a big difference as its pointless hanging around if you are 3 down as against one down and throwing the kitchen sink?

 

Ultimately for myself its whats in front of me before i decide.

rarely leave early, I think fans should applaud players efforts at the end, although at times last season i never applauded although I stayed for the full duration of the garbage produced.

Not so much leave early but always watch the last minute at the top of the railway stand to try and beat the rush to the car.

Left early for the past season and a half to go and abuse any Board members but next season will be different as we climb out of mediocrity into a higher league.

if you know there is no chance of getting anything from the match and it is hurting you to watch an obvious negative performance and outcome, there is nothing wrong with leaving early. It has nothing to do with getting home 10 minutes earlier but it does ease the pain a bit more. Waiting until the end to abuse the players and manager like some people do doesn't do anybody any favours

Ican honestly say in over 40 years and virtually every home match[apart from seo season] i have never left early or booed or abused the players.

I go for the football, but will leave early if its crap and heartless. Don't mind losing as long as they battle and give their all. Bit of a daft first post tho, just because you stay until the end if we are losing doesn't mean you go for the victory or football it just means you have more patience or no where else to be .

Only time I walked out early we were 3-1 down at home to Mansfield with 10 min to go; we didn't look like we had a hope in hell.

 

Got into Proctors newsagents in Wolstanton just in time to hear the equaliser go in on Radio Stoke.
