He can't beat an egg at the moment let alone a player. Multiple times yesterday he showed for the ball in space and players instead ran into trouble rather than hand the ball off to him.

When he did get it, he lost it, begs a question as to why he's so lacking in confidence.

I quite liked how Portsmouth played the 4231. Two decent holding midfielders and two quick wide men. Problem is we'll go 352 and not have a shot on goal. Feel like we're directionless.

No way Dan Jones will be straight back in. He has to serve his ten matches on the bench. It’s the Port Vale way.

Sadly I don't think it matters much if at all what team is picked, as Crosby has shown that he just cannot get a performance from them and his tactics are quite frankly beyond belief. Against Portsmouth we stood off and gave them the freedom of Vale Park to do as they wished. You would think that sitting deep would have made it more difficult for Portsmouth to get amongst us. In actual fact they played through us so easily it was embarrassing. We all know the definition of insanity and our tactics this season easily qualify. Something has to change and in football that means the manager and in our case the dof also.

It was absolutely terrible,yesterday took terrible too a new level , mind you I am on standby for night off if get it off may go,  but even then I say  because of last 2 performances and think do they deserve my support I'd say if your a season ticket holder you already paid your way I have twice for me and my lad so if I don't attend financially doesn't matter.

I lose out the club ain't and I haven't wasted my time going if those 2 last performances are a guide to Tuesdays game then we already lost.

But football doesnt work like that .

So hope they win and if we get a early goal  be the team to only go in opposition half twice in one half and score with first raid then gain confidence from that to what they should do destroy Leyton Orient.

Totally agree. Add to that the first two goals came down his side yesterday and we have a problem.
