Another is parachute payments which arguably cause a lot of the financial imbalance, certainly between League One and the Champ.

I hope the EFL stands up for itself and doesn't just roll over.

We will have to promise to go soft on them…..and let them win….rather than smashing them…..in a competition already devalued by the inclusion of the U21’s…….to the point where many fans already boycott thd games…...you couldn’t make it up.🙄🙄

One assumes the EFL Trophy group stage would expand. I suppose another way would be to bung them into the EFL Cup, perhaps the Premier League would send under-21 sides into the EFL Cup. That would reduce the amount of first team games that the top clubs have to play, which is something they've complained about for a long time now. Of course then they'd just end up playing more European / international fixtures in the space in the calendar saved by sacking off the EFL Cup...

Numerous premier league managers have spent this week complaining about the number of games their players have to feature in and how it it causing injuries. Maybe they should try playing some of these under 23s occasionally in their first team to reduce the number of games their first choice players have to play rather than insisting that they have more games in our competition.

The worst moan of the season so far is Pep moaning that his team had to get a coach back from Newcastle to Manchester on Wednesday. 

Also, Premier League teams should stop flying all over the world in the summer which would cut out injuries, fatigue and carbon foot print
