Are they tone deaf?

My father prints his paper ticket and the scanners in the Hamil don't scan them as there isn't enough light.

I paid them to post me my season ticket when I purchased it and other than comments on here I still haven't found out why they haven't sent it. Fortunately it works on my Google Wallet.

When they haven't got scanners that work properly, can't post people tickets that they have charged them to post and not communicated a reason why it is rude and insulting to post articles like this.

Maybe some fans are taking the p but I don't understand how they can come to that conclusion when the equipment and systems that they have in place aren't functional. If the systems functioned properly then people wouldn't be able to abuse the system anyway.

I so want them to suceed, they are clearly wonderful people but they are getting so many simple things wrong currently.

I think this more to do with people trying to get in for free.
it clearly states that someone has already had the same ticket scanned.

But if the scanners don't scan legitimate tickets that haven't been used how do they know that is the case?

Because the system will say why the scan has failed, it will say either 'Can't recognise QR code' 'Invalid QR Code' or 'QR code already scanned'

Shows the mentality of some so called fans if they think the same ticket can be used twice.

I say so called, because no proper vale fan would rob the club of the price of a ticket.

You think so?

There are slot of people getting in for free or at reduced prices.

I suppose its easily done really especially if they have tried it and managed get access for there mates using the one ticket what was brought over and over again .

Wonder if that's why folk cannot get in the ground sometimes .

There's a way round that for Vale .

Say you have 8 turnstiles like hamil as first four season ticket holders who physically have the season ticket on them .

5 to 7 online sales where if a specific ticket is coming up already used then the culprits are identified .

8 tickets brought from.shop on day.

Free tickets should be for those who help out  at foundation etc they are not actually free if someone makes donations to Port Vale foundation when buying a match ticket those kind donors pay for those folk.

In all forms there will be abuse in some respects but if say a adults getting in for a under 21 personally if they cannot afford the 20 before Fri ticket price but can only afford 12 quid in some respects I'd turn a blind eye to that as better have someone in that seat than not and least they paid something.

But don't agree with folk trying get other folk in for nothing with the one brought   ticket and hoping they let in as there in my opinion no better than someone who watches all home league games on a dodgy box as they ain't giving Vale any coin whatsoever so there support neither here nor there

I hope that is the case. I didn't see any error on the screen though it just didn't do anything when held above the ticket.

It may not say on the actual screen but I imagine in the data it will say why there is an error
