Ever think that because it was behind closed doors, that they didn't do running commentary on it? That they might have been told not to?

Out of interest, what would you have done with the information that we were going to play a BCD friendly at West Brom? You couldn't have watched it. There's a match report an hour or so after it finished. How on earth did you cope in the days before social media and internet?

This is my point. So many of our fans think they are entitled to know everything going on. Being informed is one thing, but there seems to be outrage when we don't get a daily running commentary of whats going on at the club.

Note who’s missing injured: Conlon (not too much of a surprise); Benning (unusual for him) and our new LWB Grant (who was out all last season injured). I just hope Grant is not going to be another crock. Fingers crossed!

I don’t think they do a bad job with the scraps of information that they’re allowed to put out.

Unfortunately there seems to be a prevailing mentality amongst the football staff that we have to constantly play 4D Chess with things like injury news, and now even playing a football match on a Saturday has to be kept top secret.

According to many on Facebook Crosby has one game (Kidsgrove) to save his job. One even suggested he is sacked by Wednesday if we haven't signed Troy Deeney. 🙃🤐😎

Just shows the high IQ on the FB pages? Let the manager bring 8 players in...possibility of a ninth in the next few days...then give him a fortnight to "save" his job? That's almost on a par with our worst extremists!
