in my opinion if someone cant go the game why should they not try get a tenner for their ticket. i am going fork out on a season ticket next season knowing very well will be games cant attend so will try get a tenner where ever i can. my alternative is pay on the day where if the product is as poor as in recent seasons i may end up going half a dozen games. if i pay for a season ticket vale are the winners

 

I suspect Tosh's comment was very much tongue in cheek

I'm expecting 2 things, lowest gate of the season, and the most boring match of the season lol. If ever there was a midtable nothing match, this is it!!

 

Might try start a congo in the Bycars or something.

 

Mid-table, end of season fixtures, often provide a good open game, free from the possible tensions associated with relegation/promotion games. I'm hoping for an open free-flowing exhibition from both sides. Bristol Rovers notched up no less than 7 goals in their last match, so our defensive lads had better be on their toes! Looking forward to it--hope a few more are too and the attendance isn't too disappointing.

Hope the pitch is holding up well with all this rain, yesterday's reserve game with Stoke had to be switched to Nantwich because of a waterlogged pitch at Clayton and then a downpour nearly caused a postponement at Nantwich, more heavy showers for tomorrow too!:unsure:

Perhaps we should squeeze the contents of Clayton's pitch into the reservoirs before we shrivel up through this drought.

Me too. Talk about getting home just in time! Anyhoo...made it. I will wear a name tag. Cos none of you (bar Caz) have ever met me in real life. As per any Vale game .... I have no Idea what to expect. Obviously hoping for a good game and a Vale win, but that looks far from certain.

Hope I'm not tempting fate here but I've got a feeling we could be in for a treat tomorrow with an open attacking game from two sides with no inhibitions about promotion or relegation.

 

We're due a decent home game after the past couple of dollops of dross.

 

(It'll probably be a dreadful 0-0 draw now I've said that!):doh:
