Politic had a good game

Seems be coming in for criticism yes that chance first few minutes he usually whips them in the net bit whenever we have played well in last few weeks he as being at the heart of it I thought he was one of our better players at least was positive when got ball.
Maybe Barton changed it quickly and put more players down our left side to combat our threat of Hall Benning and Politic after initial 15 or whatever it was where 1 goal should have being scored for sure .
They smothered the game it may well have being a better idea have
Butterworth on earlier gone now but still annoying that Harrison walks backs into the side when connections were beginning to form .
A question for Vale fans do we not play to our strengths when Harrison plays as we know he is good in the air but is that to the detriment of the team because surely you change to 4-4-2 or 4-5 1 if that's the case as you have to have players linking like Cass and Worrall down the right and Hall and Benning down the left in order to supply the kind of balls in that kind of make use of Harrisons excellence .
So for sat we never after the initial beginning of game never got on the front foot and it cost us .
In future we need to wrestle back the midfield what's the harm in playing Pett Garrity and Conlon in there it wouldn't be deemed as negative to me as it means .
1 win ball .
2 pass ball to high up wing backs to deliver quality into Harrison.
3 if you do not have the ball how can you free your better players up

I went a Newcastle v kidsgrove game on new year's day and had the misfortune to stand with the kidsgrove fans with my grandson.  There was a bloke there constantly shouting  f••• off at the castle players and management.  We had to move ends to escape it.  Vale wernt playing,  wonder if it was him,?  Although cant imagine a vale fan abusing van derby laan.  2 of em?

The Bristol Rovers players,staff and fans, have had their heads shaved to raise money for Nick Anderton who has a form of bone cancer. 

I've donated,not to show off,but just know how much their club supported Darrell Clarke in his time of need.

Wondered why this thread had been resurrected. What a shame that is for their lad, heartbreaking. Makes you realise there are more important things than football and also brings into perspective that these lads won’t be earning enough at this level of football to retire on. Looks like he’s a popular member of their squad, fair play to them for doing this for him.
