sorry to go off-topic, but as crazy things are being discussed, I notice Exodus has scored a couple for Mansfield (also 2 assists in their recent 6-3 away win) and Roberts only made the bench. Briscoe also scored in this match.

 

I predict 3 wins, 3 draws, 3 defeats in the last 9 games. Will give us 58 points (and without the -10, would have been 68 and just miss a playoff place).

Of course he isn't, he's a brilliant motivator but even he won't be setting them totally unrealistic goals like this.

 

Besides which 70 points will clearly not be enough given what Crewe, Oxford and Gillingham have already achieved points wise.

This fixation with Mo is a little unhealthy imo.

In the 'good 'ol days' before the tinterweb and Play-offs, teams like us on 46 points (mid-table) were relatively safe and thus able to 'blood youngsters' ready for next season.

It gave the lads a chance to see what playing in the first team was like without too much pressure, it readied fans to their names and capabilities and generally helped bring youngsters into the game.

 

Sadly, those days seem long gone, but if I were Micky I would be considering giving some of the lads a chance in the remaining fixtures. We may never have a better chance of seeing if these lads can cut the mustard than now.
