What are threads being moved?

 

Currently there is only one forum that 99% of users may view and post on, so why are admin moving threads?

 

I appreciate Rob's reasons for keeping the site 'light', and I understand the reasons why he hasn't been online recently, but to be honest, I'm fed up of reading about Vale at the moment, and other threads allow a bit of escapism.

 

I'd have PM'd an admin, but I can't see who's online.

There does seem to be a large proportion of the site that has been disabled at the moment

Yes I know, all a tad strange. However the moved threads are held against 3-5 days expiration in anticipation to moving to the upgaded website i.e. the moved topic will still appear in the 'General Forum and be accessed from there until the switch. This will save us time if we were to do it all afterwards.

 

Hope this makes sense.

 

Then again, we do walk upside down 'Downunder.

Due to heavy Volume of traffic Wezza RobF had to chop the site down temporarily plus he is upgrading the site when he has a chance to......So be patient me owd stripey as we will be back to normal soon as the best site in the Football League.......Theyt cos always nip over to the dark side for the time being on the Bloatcake......:razz:

Hi Wezza

 

As you may or may not be aware Rob is well into the process of changing over systems on OVF. We're hoping to get it finished this week. Hopefully Wednesday or Thursday and then all the forums will be back up and running. :yes: Obviously that's if Rob dunna blow it up altogether! :D

Great minds think alike eh...

 

I was thinking the time is right to switch on some more site features.

 

As I mentioned, I have had a family illness to deal with which has taken priority over OVF so I haven't been on as much as I would like.

 

But some more forums will appear later today.

 

The site relaunch will also be in the news section soon and is now inked in for SUNDAY! Barring emergencies and major breaking news I intend to get on with it and finally launch the new-look site then.
