If the current squad minus lee collins can't pick up 7 points from the remainder of the season they shouldnt be a football league player. Lee Collins won't keep us up on his own.

He is in contract, doesnt have to leave and has gone on loan with a fee agreed at the season end. He will be playing 2 leagues higher, for more money so who can blame him. He's often slated on here for trouble making etc, so he goes sadly with my blessing. Some people really need to wake up. This would have happened come what may.

He was a great player when he first came, looked solid, quick and got forward tremendous. His formed dipped with the shin splints and he put a bit of beef on and lost a yard of pace.

 

Looks like he's come back this time a bit fitter and looked good centre half against burton and barnet, although he was wrecked last twenty mins and micky should of subbed him not Taylor!

 

Can't blame him for wanting to play at championship level and grounds etc... Not to mention a pay rise!

Good luck to the lad. If any of us had the opportunity to play and get paid (which is a bonus) at a higher level Im sure most of us would.

Regarding the fee - 50k plus another 50k dependent of appearances, another 50k dependent on international call ups plus, as Im sure, a percentage of any future transfer(s)

I'm glad some people are keeping their heads while all others are losing theirs! Some total over the top moanings going on.

 

Let's put it simply, a Championship club, have offered the chance for a young League 2 player to move to them. It doesn't matter if we are in admin, top the league or bottom, he is most likely to go.

 

We've also seemed to have coped for a large majority of the season without him and ended up just outside the play offs without the 10 point deduction.

 

Anyone would think we'd gone 8 games without a win recently, not 8 undefeated! 1 defeat and all of a sudden we're relegation fodder, get some perspective!
