According to the back of the Sentinel Collins is having a medical at Barnsley today ahead of a loan move with a view to a permanent move in the summer.

So we've only got 1 player who can play centre half until the end of the season then with McDonalds court case being in a couple of weeks and Owen out for the season....how's Loft at centre half then? :rolleyes:

No statement is necessary. It's pretty common sense really that Collins would be one of the few players we have other clubs would come in for.

 

And this isn't League Two Barnet were talking about, it's Championship Barnsley.

I think that we need to get a sense of perspective. Administration was always going to be hard and for those who thought the job was done when the board were ousted are going to be disappointed.

 

There is nothing to say that the player has asked to leave. Regardless of our situation, do you think Micky would have deprived Lee Collins of this chance or Lee himself would have turned the offer to play two levels above down? I don't think so. A team doing well in any of the lower leagues is going to have offers for their better players- look at Crawley losing two of theirs.

Gutted as I am to lose Collins, I REALLY rate Joe Davis.

 

Lets not be too harsh on him, and get behind him. He needs support, not berating.
