we need to generate as much interest in coming to support the club at the moment so what about asking ex players/managers to come down and be in the club shop around the ground signing autographs having photos taken before the game and at half time come onto the pitch etc. get rudgey and horton down porter, ainsworth, earle, naylor etc just an idea what do you lot think? get all the kids on the pitch at half time take a penalty each at boomer lets have some fun.

I now fear the worst.

Admin. Nothing to play for. No wages for the team.

Failure to beat a poor team like Barnet.

Next four home games against bottom half of league clubs such as Hereford, Dag.& Red, Macc. and Bristol R.

Gates could drop to 4/4,500 or less.

Which is exactly why people like windsorvale4ever are coming up with ideas to attract people. I suspect many share your fears but let's be positive and come up with some ideas to address this.

I reckon the showing up of former players would be a great idea. Any chance of reuniting the teams from the 90s/00s that won promotions and/or Wembley/Millenium Stadium finals, legends from way back who younger fans have only heard of and never seen in the flesh....

Not easy to organise and won't happen overnight but such things have been done before and I would hope would attract those who are not sufficiently enticed by 4th div football but get them thru the gate and they might come back again and again

That's pretty much the reality - something definitely needs to attract people as the death of Port Vale doesn't seem to have resignated with our supposed fanbase

The administrators should stop all complimentry tickets, that alone would generate a few thousand qouid, if the so called fans that use them every home match, paid on the gate, also what about a family ticket of four, two adults pay full price, two juniors under 16 go in free.

bristol rovers took 1046 to torquay at the weekend so they could bring a few but we shouldnt be relying on away fans to boost our attendances up. I cant see us getting anymore than 4500 against hereford and around 5000 against dagenham but it dependfs really if everyone who has gone the last 2 home games turns out for the remaining 5 home games.

Unfortunately, a weekend in Stoke on Trent doesn't quite have the same attraction as a weekend in Torquay-by-the-Sea.!!!

In fact I can't see any attraction in a weekend in Stoke! Which means you will be correct, Andy... they will only bring a few.
