I don't recall Bill Bratt Bowl ever being built. Don't use a good april fools to have a go at the board paddock. Its pathetic.

April fools is every day at Vale park atm, why wait for the official date?

:banghead:

Why waste a chance to slate the board?

It's all very boring now.

Yeah I hate those boring *******s who want a better future for our club. I wish they would just **** off so the not-boring fans can concentrate on ensuring we compete respectably in the blue square. :banghead:

Stop sensationalising everything. At this very moment in time who is in charge? And where are we in the league? That's right, nowhere near relegation, a lot closer to promotion in fact. Never mind though eh paddock, I wonder if some of you people would actually prefer is to be relegated the way you keep banging on about it.

Short term pain. Long term gain. One promotion under the current regime won't subsidise us for seasons to come. Or are you narrow-minded enough to analyse the club's fortunes on a match-by-match basis?

Football is simply a results business. If we go up then we can expect much larger away followings thus bringing in extra revenue. I expect Perry Deakin to gain sponsorship deals for the stands and also increase income elsewhere too. I am offended that you think I am narrow minded about all this, I think its just being more realistic and not allowing myself to be bought by promises of championship football in 5 years. Perhaps I am just a more optimistic person than you but I think we will be fine.

I hope we will be fine. I'm sure you're not narrow-minded.

You reckon?? Have a look at the League 1 table again and i think you will see different. The journeys are massive in League 1 compared to now so i can't see any more revenue from home gates at all ;)
