Also, seeing how Wednesdays average away following this season is just shy of 2000 how do you work that out?

 

You said it yourself. We can expect no more than 2000 from a very disgruntled set of Wednesday fans next season if we achieve promotion, hardly anything to get too excited about as the rest will fail to bring anymore than three of four hundred with the odd few exceptions (Sheff Utd. if relegated). The difference in away averages in each league is minimal, I believe that Vale would be about 5th currently in League 1 (haven't got the figures at hand to look) which says a lot.

I saw us play Sheffield United five years running when we were in Division 1, and i don't think they ever bought more than 2000. They're not not gonna bring 2500 more fans when they're a division lower are they.

If I remember right that game where we won was one of the strangest games I've seen and they were really poor as well. I seem to remember there being loads of injuries straight away and them changing keeper maybe?? May be wrong.

Whilst the board have to go there is no balance in most arguments on here as every opportunity / even being caught out by the oldest trick in the book is taken to spin against the board. Slate them by all means for their failings of which there are many but not becuase you have been made to look stupid!!!!

Grewy and The Horse should of had the job till the end of the season anyway when Adam's went. If true (it is April fools after all) the board should wait till the end of the season before making a decision. Saying that Grew has done a good at everything he has done at the Vale,
