I am not planning to invest my savings in Port Vale. He chose to make what was in effect a donation of £250,000 during the last administration. That is a big investment in the supporters. It's only a football club. He has worked hard with talent for whatever wealth he has, he is entitled to spend it or invest it unfettered by criticism from anyone and, if he chooses, there are many better ways to be charitable than to give another wad to Port Vale. For example giving it to John Bishop's fund raising is clearly a better step. Even coming to live in the UK and being mugged by the communists for 52% tax and NI would be a better investment.

Taylor's one of the tightest men on earth! Personally Robbie putting in 250k is the equivelent of your everyday fan putting in a tenner! So what he did was admirable but IMO every proper vale fan would of done at least that!

 

He may come in and put his money in when we get a decent owner in I hope so but youll be lucky to get 10p out of Phil Taylor!

I worked next to a company called 'Healthier by Farr' a change 4 life company, basically they sold sets of pots and pans for around £1500....Taylor bought one for himself and one for his pal Ian 'Diamond' White as Ian could not afford one....perhaps he won't put his money into Vale, he did say he would if Mo got in but theres a few ifs and buts there. Once more people telling richer people what they should do with their money. If you want to chuck thousands at a football club go and earn some thousands and do it.

 

 

As for Robbie, I think the reason it was 249k was because that was the maximum amount that could be converted into shares due to the 24.9% rule.
