I get the odd request in the OVF inbox and here's one from Leek.

If anyone can help, Tom at Leek Town would be very grateful. His request is below. If you have any information please reply in this thread and I'll send him the URL to checK:

I'm currently the Secretary at Leek Town FC. I am also currently undergoing a historical project of collating as much Leek Town stats as possible on the following website:

I have some gaps in my stats and was wondering if you had any records of Port Vale and Leek encounters, specifically in the Staffs Senior Cup. I know we played twice in 1979 in an early round but cannot find any record of the game or results!

Any help would be greatly appreciated
