I read with dismay that people are using a potential none announcement of administration as an excuse not to attend the match tonight.

 

I think a few home truths are neccessary.

 

There are many on this site that have become so blinded by their hatred for those that have, admittedly, nearly bought our club to it's knees, that they can no longer see the bigger picture.

 

Tonight there will be players and staff who are working for NOTHING!! People who have familes to feed and mortgages to pay. It was reported last night that Micky Adams gave the players special leave on Saturday, if they wanted it, as they had been through enough. Did they turn their backs on the club? No they didn't. They played in the knowledge that they wouldn't be getting paid. That's loyalty.

 

Do you not feel that they deserve even the smallest bit of respect and support?

 

Face facts - this lot are dead men walking.

 

We have 2 choices - admin or liquidation. If anybody thinks that Lloyd, Oliver or Deakin can cling on are fooling yourselves.

 

I'll be handing over my £20.50 tonight, safe in the knowledge that Lloyd et al will not be getting their grubby mitts on it, and in the hope that it helps pay a wage to one of the players.

Why not put your 20 quid in the SC bucket and at least you know it will end up helping the Players/Staff out eventually...........These Scrotes are STILL in charge of the gate money........

Thanks for completely missing the point Jimmy!

 

Missing YOUR point maybe.......I am on standby and hoping for a Council decision at the last moment IF we go into Admin.....I will attend IF not my gate money goes into the bucket.

Agree with your sentiments except the last paragraph. If admin is looming the cash could only be for the benefit of the creditors who HAVE to be treated equally (once the secured charges are covered). It would be unlikely to go to the players and staff. Matchday expenses may have to be guaranteed to enable the game to go ahead.

I can see what Lee is saying. Yes, we can put our £20 in the bucket and this will go to help the players and staff financially.

 

I think what Memphis is saying is that if we go to the game then the players etc will have physical evidence that we're behind them. The players and staff have been loyal to us so perhaps we should repay that loyalty with ours.

 

I've been SEO since the beginning but really thinking about it I think what Memphis says makes sense so yes, i'll agree with him. Let's get down there tonight and SHOW the players how much OUR club means to us and how we appreciate their loyalty to us, the fans.

 

Let's face it, MOLD have taken our money, don't let them take our pride. Our pride in OUR Club.

 

I've had a complete change of heart on this as, initially, I was for staying away but the more I've thought about it the more I'm realising that the players need us. :yes:

memphis i totally agree with you the extra revenue could help to pay the players/staff there are some very narrow minded people about who prefer to fiddle as vale burns

 

Read Fairportnick.......No 11............The players wont get a penny.....:rolleyes:
