I signed SEO from the start and i don't need anyone telling me what to do.

For the 4th time, if admin doesnt happen then i still wont be going but will go down and put the money in one of the buckets.

Brit, while i disagree with your stance, i respect your decision. Hopefully an announcement will be made later, but i'm sure you will be back on Saturday. Welcome home.

SEO was a website designed by one man, not a commitee a la Black and Gold.

The website, or pledge if you will, was designed as a warning to the board about the potential repercussions of their actions, or lack of.

SEO is an individuals choice, and there can be no statement of intent, other then the actions of individuals.

hmmmm seemed to be a lot of people very willing to air their views when trying to get rid of the board, but very few who are willing to come out and with clarity now they have achieved what they aimed to do.

the title of this thread is very apt- Blinded By Hatred

In fairness, I think that the newly invigorated Supporters Club has superceded both Black and Gold and SEO, and all statements of intent to supporters is taken through them.

I think that they, the SC, have been excellent recently, and I have every confidence in them.

just making a point, but surly any money from tonight,s game will be under scrutinty all the more. Also in the present situation p.deakin will be on the employies list for pay in alphabetical order as far as the hrmc and hopefully the administrator is concerned. So any show of attendence will show all what PVFC and its fans have to offer...

So if you are Vale- show you are and be there 1945-6/3/12 a NEW START...

I read with dismay that people are using a potential none announcement of administration as an excuse not to attend the match tonight.

I think a few home truths are neccessary.

There are many on this site that have become so blinded by their hatred for those that have, admittedly, nearly bought our club to it's knees, that they can no longer see the bigger picture.

Tonight there will be players and staff who are working for NOTHING!! People who have familes to feed and mortgages to pay. It was reported last night that Micky Adams gave the players special leave on Saturday, if they wanted it, as they had been through enough. Did they turn their backs on the club? No they didn't. They played in the knowledge that they wouldn't be getting paid. That's loyalty.

Do you not feel that they deserve even the smallest bit of respect and support?

Face facts - this lot are dead men walking.

We have 2 choices - admin or liquidation. If anybody thinks that Lloyd, Oliver or Deakin can cling on are fooling yourselves.

I'll be handing over my £20.50 tonight, safe in the knowledge that Lloyd et al will not be getting their grubby mitts on it, and in the hope that it helps pay a wage to one of the players.

Dead right I will be paying tonight and leaving my season ticket at home!

According to the sentinel reporter he's taking a MAN Utd season ticket holder tonight ! I know STOKE fans who are going to the game tonight, albeit without their shirts or scarves. They just want to show that they want someone to argue with in the future. Bitter rivalry ? - Yes, theyve give me grief over 50 years, and me them.

But sometimes, just sometimes, you need to shut your mouths and do the right thing.

If other supporters can go the Vale just to show that they have a concern about the welbeing of an "old friend" then it beggers belief that some of the VALE fans cant see past the dead men walking.

We have won the war, the armistice is about to be signed, why not go and cheer on the team AND really really gloat at the demise of OLIVER and BRATT. Forget Miller ,Deakin and LLOYD because they were always "Furriners" who had no affinity to Vale or Boslem.

BRATT and OLIVER were the real backstabbers, supposedly local die hards, Vale in the blood types - so when one of your own stabbs you in the back it is all the worse.

Get behind the Team at the Vale and cheer - But also GET your voices raised to the fact that the supporters have WON ,stand Up and make your voices be heard like a thousand daggers going into the backs of those vile retches - if only to act as a deterant to any future BRATT and OLIVER lurking in the stands.

I dont care if they are not there - I just want to shout the roof off because they are without hope and we have a future to build.

I've posted this previously, but I've been staunch in my SEO all season. For me, the time is right to return. I feel like I want to support the players due to the circumstances we/they find ourselves in. However, if some people choose not to attend until all the last remnents of V2001 are out of the club, then I completely understand their point of view and I don't think they should be criticised for this

A lot of fans joined SEO and gave up something they loved, going to the match, for a greater cause. A lot these people also still came to Vale Park, even though they weren't attending, to protest before and after matches and attended SC meetings to help support the pro-change movement. I think it's unfair to criticise these same people now.

I shall be going to the game tonight.

Whether my 20 quid goes towards the players wages or to Mr Deakin's ridiculous salary is irrelevant - The board is on borrowed time and won't be around for much longer, and the team need every ounce of support they can get.

Whether 10 points are deducted or not, until it is mathematically impossible for us not to achieve the playoffs we should make every effort to get there - hopefully starting with another 3 points this evening.

Up the Vale!

All reasonable points. One question though, what will not going tonight do to help the club?

My wife has no interest or knowledge about footy or Vale really and I won't see her until I get back at about midnight tonight. Before I left this morning she said "hope they win". Before I knew what I said I had told her "doesn't matter anymore whether they win or not from now on". It really doesn't though does it? Doesn't matter what happens apart from the supporters coming together and ensuring there is a club left at the end of the season.
