I think loaning us the £300k is the stumbling block with the talks.

Personally I don't think the council should loan the club any more money, it is throwing good money after bad at the moment.

 

The best bet for the council would be look to be admin and hoping that they get a decent offer.

But are we insolvent if we don't get it? We need the £300k to see us through administration, they will put us into admin(IMO) but how do we run the club day to day?

I'm pretty sure the board don't want the money to keep going but to pay the administrators without them being paid were fooked

Mo has given an interview on RS they played a little of it just after 5 and he said he was still interested in the club so maybe they will talk to him to see what can be rescued

The fact the club needs money isn't just cause for spending taxpayer funds that they are unlikely to ever get back.

I think the council would need to lend the club a fair amount of money just to put the club into admin. The costs for the administrator would be somewhere in the reigon of £100k - £200k and this money would need to come from somewhere.
