Is this worse than our last Admin experience??

Ok don't know anything really about our last admin experience... Can somebody shed the light in the goings on and events in our last admin... How much we owed, how it was handled... Time scale etc etc

 

I know we are not in admin yet but I think it's hours/Days away...

It all depends on the attitude Mo adopts. If he mounts a bid then no, if he leaves us to it then we are immeasurably worse off.

One thing is for sure, it puts to bed any of the "who was worse...Bratt or Bell" nonsense. THe 'well we are still afloat' argument is now gone, and will hopefully shut that idiot Jeff Kent up about only ever going bust when one man held control. Admin last time represented our fall from grace, we were still paying Championship wages as a League 1 side and gates had obviously fallen. This time, it's ten years of a little bit of borrowing here and there catching up with us at a time when we really are skint. Looking at it like this, last time was probably more colossal because I'm pretty sure all the figures were higher.

 

It all depends on who, if any, buyers come forward. If Chaudry can lead us out of Admin, it will I'm sure be a positive turning point in the club, but it could also be the beginning of the end.

This is much worse, wait until people delve into the irregularities these crooks have entwined themselves in show themselves.

Last time admin came as a bit of a surprise. We owed in the region of £2.5 million of which I think £600k was to the tax man. We went into Admin in December 2002 and were finally out of Admin in May 2003 if I remember correctly.

I also said the debts 'we knew of'...we now find out the Tax man is owed 750k! There is probably more!

He was on the radio at the last away game saying how the rotten board had to go etc.,i had to smile tbh.

I doubt the EGM will happen now, in which case, no interim board just the administrators handling affairs.

Not sure that's how I heard it on the radio report, Andy. I thought it said that anyone who is owed more than £750 can issue a winding-up order. However, I am willing to be corrected if I misheard/misunderstood.
