One of the best nights since I've been a Vale fan....knowing what I know now I wish I hadn't taken it for granted

 

Yep,moaning when we use to lose at home to teams like Birmingham,West Brom,Wolves..Moaning when we use to sell players for 6 figure fees...:(

Yeah, I remember when we went to Birmingham when they were being managed by Trevor Francis, and we beat them 2 -1. After the games, he said "We shouldn't be losing to the likes of Port Vale" - arrogant so and so - and I remember thinking "get used to it, we're here to stay". Alas no.

I remember going to Molineux for Mark Mcghee's first game as manager as Wolves and beating them. Great days.

those were the days !!! i remember queing to get in on the mudbath pitches at the back of the bycars, the dodgy attendance of 14000 was it ?? bergkamps super goal,and of course cordens equaliser. The away leg was a game to remember too,lots of ale in the head of steam at euston mmmmm followed by a backs to the wall 0-0 !! and look at us now............ ive jus rang the samaritans but its f3ckin engaged :(
