It's all nonsense anyway. Ian Taylor didn't stand in the Bycars when he was 6. Neither did Ray Walker. Nor did Ian Bogie.

 

Those players ran through brick walls for Port Vale, they didn't need a Port Vale tattoo to show how much they cared for the club.

 

But hey as long as Pope is a Vale fan and continues to chase lost causes he'll get an easier ride than everyone else.

 

Shut up and get on with it Pope, you might be a fan but you're also an employee and don't have to stump up £20 to watch some of the inept performances of late.

You forgot to miss off the fact he gets an easier ride than every one else is because not only does he chase every ball he also holds the ball up very well and is a great target man

And desire and commitment (as much as I appreciate toms) doesn't get you into the championship alone (we aren't talking about egg chasing here), otherwise I'll stick old sage up front!

I have no issue with you commenting, where did I say I have and why so defensive ? Can you not debate ?

 

Vale were a far better team in the first half of last season, any one who denied that would de plain daft. That has nothing to do with the Richards v Pope debate though.

 

Any way this is going way off topic, its not about Pope as a player its about his comments, my view still is the same he should keep out of the politics
