Perhaps if Mo had gone about things differently he would be in charge now. perhaps if he kept his word to pay for all shares at purchase price he would be in charge now.

I think we need to proceed with caution with any new owner, people who get involved with football club ownership all seem to have colourful pasts and frequently dubious intent. I think a healthy scepticism and scrutiny is needed with Mo Chaudry as much as anyone else. Of course, the weakness of our position is that he's probably the only show in town anyway.

I appreciate this is the V2001 message all over again, but the inconsistency with V2001 was not the resonance of the message so much as the fact that they conformed to the "dodgy" stereotype themselves. This further inclines me to take the "Mo risk" i.e. go for a single focused leadership, but acknowledge that it is a risk and make sure he knows the Bensons and Jackos of this world have their beady eyes on him!
