That is a tweet off Miller so looks like he is trying to move on. His family live in Fleet, Hampshire . As Marmaduke rightly said he could find it difficult family wise.

12 months ago we would of been salivating at such a signing. Now he is dividing opinion including my own.

As i posted on the Mansfield match day thread he was actually in the pub before the game , didn't know until pointed out by Mansfield fan i was chatting to. Now to me if you are on loan at a club and looking maybe to sign then shouldn't you be with your team mates at the ground rather than the boozer ? Or is it just me .

I’ve thought about this some more.

 

I don’t want it to appear like I’m being unfair on the guy. We all know he’s screwed up several times and it would be a heartwarming story if he can sort himself out and even one day go on to help others who’re in a similar pickle.

 

That said, his courtroom tears, and now the tweet... it sounds like he’s all over the bleedin’ place. Or to put it another way he’s still got a long way to go to get through the seven stages of grief.

 

I haven’t the first clue how much influence his family have over him, but if he were my son I’d want him close, for everyone’s sake. Moving to Staffs seems a terrible idea.

I can understand clubs still taking chances on players like Miller in the hope he can get them goals, but how many chances should they have?

 

Looking at his record and although hes scored virutally 1 in 2, hes only been playing at league one level since last season. Maybe conderence to league one was too much of a jump and he'll find league two more his level.

 

But hes a gamble, not only for his off the field problems but also him actually being able to make a league career for himself. I would hazard a guess that its a gamble clubs can weight in our favour because he is in the last chance saloon. One year deal, mess about and you're out.

 

I find it frustrating when players like this seem determined to let the chance of a lifetime slip through their fingers. They don't realise how lucky they are.

Trouble is that pissheads don't think like us ordinary mortals they fit or try to fit everything in around their drinking habits as with druggies the first thing is the fix whether it be booze crack spice monkey dust or whatever not the ideal personage to liven the dressing room up.
