Gannon's two main problems were blatantly obvious to see.

 

1 - He has terrible man management skills.

 

2 - His tactics/formations are far too advanced and technical for a side in League Two.

After the match on Saturday he told me that he had been made lots of promises by the Board and that he shouldn't have to work in an environment that he did.

 

Also said that he had seen no leadership in the Club in the last 3 weeks.

 

And also asked, rather poignantly now, if he could borrow my B&G scarf for Tuesday.

 

It didn't work out for him but he is merely a consequence of the incompetence and arrogance displayed by the Board.

I rate him far more highly as a manager than as a human being. (I don't rate him as a manager at all, by the way.)

He only has himself to blame, he created that environment himself by being downright unpleasant to everyone at the club. He has alienated everybody and deserves what's come to him. It doesn't exactly show great leadership when he walked off the bus and then didn't even bother to travel to the Accrington game with the players. His man-management has been dreadful since the day he started. Good riddance.
