Surely Micky is going to bite the bullet and return Roberts to the starting line up. We have got nothing to lose, as the team is currently bereft of stability and creative ideas.

 

Grimsby at home is a great opportunity to allow a new formation and different players to settle in before the next league fixture.

I was going to say Morsy and Loft in free attacking positions but I thought it would get shot down! Sort of a malleable diamond shape. However, the players can't be trusted to perform simple tasks at the moment, so getting them to play in a simple formation and sticking to rudimentary tactics is challenging enough.

If Morsy started 5 or 6 games in a row I'm sure he would become a key player very quickly, but he seems to be one of those players that gets dropped instantly when things go wrong, leaving other senior players to continue playing week in week out.

I dont understand the obsession with Roberts!

 

How many times does he have to drag this clubs name through the mud?

How many times does he have to disrespect the management?

 

If he could sort himself out yes he would be an asset, but the bottom line is he has failed at every club he has been at.

 

Yet the fans & manager continue to put faith in him???

 

Should have been sacked weeks ago and the money from his wages invested in a right winger who has pace, crossing ability & the professionalism to respect the club, himself, the fans and his family.
