Love your optimism mate, inkeeping with the feel good factor presently sweeping Vale. I will keep my cash in my pocket to visit as many grounds this season as possible to support the lads but I wish you well and really hope you enjoy your winnings!

Pope 25/1 to be top goal scorer in the league is probably worth a punt too. 2 goals behind Collins and Hylton at the top currently.

We're still one of favourites to go down also. Lets not get to excited eh as id still take 3rd from bottom as it stands and lets build on next season. Love the optimism though, but promotion or playoffs wont happen this season.

If Aspo prevents us from going down this season he's done a cracking job. If we win the league this season then he'll be England manager this time next year after Southgate gets the sack following the usual early exit from a tournament!

I was tempted to put a tenner on us going down. Seemed like a perfect storm. Disinterested owner. Inadequate manager. Huge under performing squad. Annoyed fans .... But since the management change there is a chance of a complete turnaround and promotion. Skybet were giving out 150/1 to win the play offs.

I posted last night that 9/1 (maybe slightly more) is available for a top 12 finish for Vale, and this is a better bet I reckon.

Worth a very small punt on Top 3, but really asking a lot from where we are.

Tom Pope as top scorer is a decent price and maybe worth a small wager too.

That 150/1 sounds good, but if Vale finished in 1st, 2nd or 3rd and were automatically promoted, the bet would lose - it isn't the price to be promoted by any means.
