starting tomorrow or best team if all fit ?

 

Tomorrow id go - Hornby (Lainton if fit though)

 

Wilson Smith Davis Gunning Denton

 

Worrall Whitfield Harness

 

Pope Turner (but Pyke if fit)

 

 

Monty to come on after an hour or so unless we were blitzing them up front.

Very difficult to name a starting XI.

We haven't seen the two new lads play. We've got Tonge suspended and 2-3 injuries. So it's really anyone's guess.

 

I was quite impressed with Harness last week but my main concern is that we play with two strikers and get at them from the off. We were very good in the second half of the Crewe game, with only ten men, and that's the type of effort we need to replicate from the off tomorrow.

 

Possibly the same defence as in the week, though we might go for Anderson's height over the unlucky Davis.

Pope and either Pyke or Turner.

Harness, Worrall, Whitfield and one more. The new lad perhaps?

 

Can we do this again in October?!

Smith rested as he IMO is struggling at the moment, experienced journeymen like Akinfenwa, O'Grady and Dagnall seem to have been too cute/ clever/ experienced and have pretty much owned him in the last 3 league games. He will get back though as he is quality.

Lets start the game the way we started the second half v Crewe.

I want c Wilson and Denton joining in and supplying quality into Pope.

A 5-3-2is when used in a attacking way is 3-5-2 .
