It's given me and my boys years of enjoyment and bonding irrelevant of scorelines or jumped up owners

I'll still be there in some form but sadly not as a season ticket holder this time round

We are a small unfashionable club. I protested to my dad for not taking me Stoke by going Vale. For a few good years we were top dog in the town and would give any Prem Club a game. If we beat a top club it is better than anything. If you are a top team and you beat Spurs it doesn't mean as much. No fan of any top flight club will feel how I felt when we beat Spurs in 1988. Best moment of my Vale life.

Very surprised you place Bell in that list...he presided over Vale's best era and contributed greatly to it..yes it went sour at the end but I'm still waiting for someone who is better...where is he?

Of course...Money has been the defining difference between Vale and Stoke fortunes...Stoke have literally bought a new fanbase of at least 25,000 supporters or more. The BET 365 machine is the main catalyst...if only so many Vale fans had boycotted BET365!!
