Every time we play Crewe we get a thread like this.

They are deluded at best.

I dont know why folk worry about them.

Geo, think as most posters on this thread have put we lacked that quality final pass or finish in the final third but overall our play was very good, I thought one of the best performances I've seen so far. There's a lot more positives to take from this result than negatives, which hasn't always been the case this season.

 

Couple more tricky games coming up though and we need to show the same application for the next two.

Draw was right on the chances each team had

 

get real you lot had one shot on target in the second half, and Dario have the order to slow the game down on about 70mins. Crewe played for a draw. If you dont believe it watch the match vid, when Bell goes off the sub comes on and tells everyone to slow down the game.

 

Two things i love about Crewe away is that they all call Vale fans chavs, while sitting there in their Cabrini and Mckenzie tracksuits and T-90 football trainers and the way all their fans get really excited over a pass more than 10 yards, its like they are easily pleased

One bad tackle all day and that was by their no6 on Loft. If refs don`t send players off for that it makes a mockery of all the other yellow cards for slightly mistimed tackles. Worst Crewe side I`ve seen for a while, only Byron Moore would improve our side.

If Crewe don't get some players in that have a bit of grit and tenacity

(like Owen LOL) they will be fighting for league one survival.

They might end up in Blue Square where their humble ground deserves to be.

Nah but the only things they are clinging to are they would have had a peno but were too honest (id call that playing properly) and they should have had Griff sent off to make it easier for them.

 

On the flip side their keeper after missing the ball completely was mauling Taylor who COULD have gone down and would have got a penalty, and Dugdale stuck an above the ball two footer in and should have been sent off, so id say that makes it all square.

The ref. didn't think so and he is alway's in charge.

If Griffith's tackle/foul was severe the ref. WOULD have sent him off.

I'm satisfied with his decision.

 

The fragile, weak and schoolboy like Crwhoo team were outclassed.
