The first thing that should happen to the £5 million is to pay off the council loan which is costing the club £11,000 a month in interest. Any business minded person would know this; Mo Chaudry did.

 

Secondly and inperitively should come squad improvement to give the club a better chance of promotion.

In the end its all crap.

£400K only plugs the fiancial black hole and gets us through this season, so don't expect to see any new signings of note in the near future.

The rest, it seems is down to a similar deal which Melzack was trying to broker a few years ago in the form of the Selman Group. From what I can gather, it will be unlocking grants to develop facilities and no direct inpit into the playing side. All of teh revenue that is created will only reduce the losses, but it will not actually push the club forward a level or two. We have the same thick ******s running the club. Bratt is still there and Oliver...

 

I am afraid that in 12-18 months time, everyone will be saying "what happened to the £8M then?"

Team can only get get worse , as with 4,500 gates £400k will not cover the potential losses , particularly given the increase in certain salaries.

They certainly wouldnt survive in League 1.
