Lloyd and the temporary CEO

As for a 5 million investment, it was never that. It was a £1.2m investment with a possible directors loan (which would have to be paid back if it wasn't converted into shares) if needed. Also, the CEO is on a permanent contract so can hardly be called temporary.

.

It was a 5 million investment with 1.2 million upfront and the use of interest free Directors loans was intended to be used inorder to become a debt free club that can turn a profit and move forward....this top secret deal needs to also be worth 5 million with 1.2 million upfront to match this.

Perry Deakin was the chosen CEO of the V2001 Board that got a vote of no confidence and can now only be considered something of an interim CEO as a new owner might well want their own people and certainly for such a such key post as CEO that is why Perry Deakin can be considered as temporary unless of course there is to be no change and the Black and Gold protests will have to resume.

Starve 'em out.

I've done 3, the problem being, not enough people got behind it. Fair do's, we had 1500 of us for the March, and the protests post match were often well attended. However, due to the people renaging in their SEO pledge, it's all been a waste of time. I'm number 2 now. Apathetic fans with no ambition that allow a board only interested in self preservation to remain has killed my passion. They'll get the club they deserve. These so called "real fans" have already started booing at home matches and started threads on here criticising player. Hypocrites and idiots of the highest order.

I feel much the same mate but I am tempted to give it one last go at forcing the ****ers out

We may all be wrong of course and this time tomorrow we may all be happy bunnies

I'm sure it will be. Mr Deakin refers to the deal in his notes for tomorrows programme, saying that we will already have read about it.

And NO, before anyone asks, there are absolutely no more details in the programme about the deal than that!

So there you have it - a leak.

I was convinced when they announced the special price deal for the Bradford game that it would be linked to a major announcement and a plan to boost the gate on the back of the euphoria it will (hopefully) create.

So you lot just have about 17 hours to wait. Some of us will be itching to get up in the middle of the night to read the news release online.

Cheers BA that has cleared things up.......By the way Mike Lloyd gave me his number after i emailed him over the proposed 'deal' a while back.......I am prepared to ask him any question you want....He always tends to reply.

Ask him if he believes that piece of crap dwakin is acting in the best interests of PVFC with regards to the way in which he has offered sponsorship incl hoiking ground naming rights about for peanuts.

Maybe you could ask lloyd if Deakin has done a good job regarding the corporate packages relating to food, how is the cold meat and veg going down??

Im yet to hear anything positive from people who have used the corporate facilities.

The sooner Vale fans wake up, and get the protests going again and force these two pieces of scum out of our club the better.

Too much ***** footing around now.

If its that bad then the disappearing customers should deal with the problem.

i have 3 options in my mind

1 accept the investment for what it is good or bad, accept real change at the club will not happen, return to the terrace blindly supporting because as meigh said it's what we do

2 reject all of the above and simply walk away and become a armchair supporter like the thousand or so others over the last 8 yrs

3 protest and cause so much **** that eventually they cave in and leave and allow an interim board to facilitate the change i desire

the more that time passes number 2 becomes the most viable option

I go back to my original comment approx 2yrs ago. If this was Stoke action would have been taken (and was taken) far beyond a peaceful demonstration.

Im not condoning it, but if you look over time and across football in the many countries, peaceful demos have never achieved long standing success.

Everton had a peaceful demo on saturday, do you think bill kenwright will suddenly be worried?? not a chance.

B0ll0cks to it all. Usually I'd be glued to my phone seeing what was happening. But I don't give half a sh!t about it anymore. When I win the euromillions tomorrow, I'm gonna build a bat cave instead of the vale. Much more fun. And you won't have a majority of supporters fighting to stay just below w@nk and just above 'gone bust' in the lovely little area known as 'little port vale'. Don't particularly want to go back at the moment to stand next to idiots for 90 minutes.

Couldn't have put it better my self fastly loosing interest in the whole thing. I'm not a glory hunter I can cope with the vale being ****, but the lack of ambition to even try and achieve just makes it pointless

So there was no Board meeting friday and no press release monday and there will be no meeting with the fans and shareholders while Lloyd has asked for an extra 24 hours to word the press release....so no change there and a catalogue of lies.

If this deal behind the shareholders backs by a Board of Directors with a vote of no confidence is not a 5 million investment with 1.2 million upfront then along with Bratt and Oliver the acting Chairman Lloyd should resign....

do not forget Lloyd has a vote of no confidence, has already kicked in with the lies and is frankly taking the michael.....thought it was meant to be "Black and Gold untill it's sold" not black and gold untill the old guard change hats and and tell yet more lies.

They simply must open talks with Mark Sims and open the books so that Mark Sims as elected by the shareholders can take control of the club and put an end to this regime...there is 5 million on the doorstep and a plan to take the club forward and if this deal cannot match it then it is not in the best interests of the club.

The big concern is that a new owner and CEO will find a club that has sold off the catering, pouring rights, hospitality and pre-seasons with even more debt and this secret underhand deal could further damage the value of the club to a new owner with many strings attached and like the council loan

a built in mechanism to make it as difficult as possible for any possible new owner.

This deal might only be 400k and the 24.9% the Board need to silence the voice of the shareholders such that they can never be challenged again via an EGM.....but even if it is under 24.9% it could effect the chance of other investment and the future of the club and must be put to the shareholders

along with any other investment offers....if it does not match the Mark Sims and Mo Chaudry offer to each individually invest 24.9% which is 1.2 million upfront then the deal is not acceptable...the shareholders must decide the future of the club not a set of small time disgraced Directors with a vote of no confidence.

This press release had better be the real deal and at least equal to the rejected 5 million investment with 1.2 million upfront or this vote of no confidence Board of Directors are not acting in the best interests of the shareholders and need to be challenged legally.

Either it is the deal of a lifetime or they must now finally resign.

Why is he only "temporary" CEO?
