Hi folks,

 

Sorry about that glitch.

 

My server was being moved to a new box and some tech dimwit (not me) had set the server time to 2015.

 

As a result all posts posted yesterday night were seen as being posted in 2015 so they were not appearing in the "What's new/What's hot" section, they were appearing in the wrong places in threads (because they were earlier dates they were being posted at the top of threads) and other functions that relied on date and time (such as users active in the last 3 hours) broke.

 

The date and time has now been reset and all should be working again.

 

If you want to test by replying to me feel free to do so.

So just for a few hours there the server clock was set to 2nd January 2015.

 

So what should you have been talking about? After a brief look in the news archives in January 2015 you would have been talking about...

 

1. The loss through injury of Vale's main striker. (so in 2015 it was Tom Pope and now it's Anton Forrester). So, that's OK...

2. The build-up to the Gillingham game. So, that's OK too...

3. Praise for Michael Brown. No change there...

4. A plethora of foreign signings (in 2016 it was the recent additions of Nimeley, Andoh, Campion and N'Guessan with Veseli about to join too) so not much change there....

 

So, is it any wonder it was difficult to spot the difference between Jan 2015 and Sept 2016?

 

And for the record, in January 2015 Port Vale beat Gillingham 2-1 at home. An omen?
