Give it up for Glenn Oliver and co.Port Vale 10th in Div2.What a tremendous achievement.Did they not realise it was a Football club they were running?.

Did we all notice that during all his v2001 bully beef in the paper,he never once mentioned the football side or the very large debt they have left us in and to think some were thanking him yesterday UNBELIEVABLE.

Surely as a director of a football club, being able to foster working relationships with the police an fire service should be taken from granted. IF that is one of the main things he highlights as one of their legacies, then it shows everone how little they have actually achieved.

I was going to post the same thing myself until I realised you had beat me to it!

"I'll not walk away because I intend to support the new directors – you don't have to be on the board to help the club and I will always be at their service."

What exactly, do you intend helping the new directors with Glenn? It seems you don't have too much to offer it terms of running a football club.

"We have a brilliant Football in the Community scheme and the club now does a lot of outreach and charitable work in the community."

The Football in the Community scheme was in place many many years before Valiant2001 took over and at one stage was one of the best in the county until Valiant2001 took over.
