Played with him last season for goldenhill, he was a handful for every defence in the staffs county league, could easily play at a higher level, he's quick, skilful and knows where the goal is!

He sounds the same as me then - I know where the goal is, it's that net thingy between those two posts with the bar over....is that right? and there's one at each end of the green bit.....i know where it is, but every time I try to find it I seem to be able to miss it by a long way...thinking of buying a satnav....But then I've never been quick or skilful either....

I hope he does well, just to show that it's absolutely beggar all to do with SEO or B&G or anything else.....

Did anyone else notice the comment in the Sentinel:

"Vale assistant manager Mark Grew was eager to cast his eye over the forward.

He said: "Sean impressed in the friendly so we have invited him in to have a closer look.

"If it hadn't been for that match we wouldn't have known about him."

I feel much better at depriving our non-league neighbours from what they were owed from hiring us their plastic pitch and letting us have Richie Sutton.

I don't think people realise it yet but this very signing might spell the end of Port Vale F.C.

I'll be there tonight cheering on what we have left- Marc Richards and Tom Pope so that I can savour the last few years of our existence in the football league playing against the giants that are Huddersfield. SeO will look back and regret this.

Tom Pope was from Biddulph......

tom pope didnt play for this biddulph side...this is goldenhill wanderers who moved to biddulph...sorry to be pedantic! lol

Anway this lad has got something about him and deserves his chance...hes fast and very skilful.

As ive said on here...i witnessed him score a totally incredible goal vs Hanley Town last season...best way describe it..like bergamps goal vs newcastle...sean controlled a long pass...and in one touch spinned around his marker...but instead of placing it in the net...he volleyed it in!...outstanding....and i couldnt help but applaud it...being the linesman...its a no-no...but...well it was that good!!

Now on anther point ive been saying for ages...local talent is there if you get out and look for it...its not just disappeared, its vale, stoke dont look hard enough i believe nowadays,or dont want to take the gamble and polish him up.

Now i hope vale...go and look for other players locally...as there are a few...ive even emailed bill lodey about one few weeks ago...no response!!

Good luck sean anyway.

Good luck to the lad i hope he does well and grabs a month to month deal then fights older less hungry players for a spot, he scores goals and fair enough its not pro standard but if he can be worked on he may just be a rough diamon Ian Wright came from non league at one point so lets all give him a chance its no good bleeting about SEO working or not working its a young unemployed lad given the chance of a life time support him please

This lad is very quick and scores goals....played for two teams last season scored 19 for one and 29 for the other....so a local lad scored near 50 goals last season in non-league and if Vale hadn't played that match they wouldn't

have known about him....some scouting network.

if as a vale fan on the board i thought that significant number of fans were boycotting the matches because of me , i would step down. especially if at an Egm called by the fans the vote went 900v 14 against me.

In any business the customer is always right. ignore this principle and the board will look back and regret this.

Well thank-you very much to the SeO campaigners! As I said before, the board will just bring in dirt cheap options such as Sean to offset the losses made from match revenue which will lead to relegation. Thanks a lot.

Nice one moron, maybe you should aim your anger at the three idiots who refuse to leave the club after a no confidence vote.

This is exactly what L2 clubs should be doing. Signing the local talent or having them on trial. If the board were not sh ite them we would not have a SEO campaign.

My Dad managed Sean for the last two seasons at Goldenhill and he reckons under the right management he could turn out to be a gem!!

If he says that sign him up and maybe if he does do well for the vale and scores some goals for us we might be able to get some money for this lad... i hope he does well.
