Hi all,

 

They are opened. To be fair to this site there has been an awful lot to fix in a short time as I have had to build a brand new forum in the same style (This isn't the old one it's a replica with the posts and usernames transferred - it took eight hours just to move the posts across - that's how much work I had to do in the early hours). As a result there are lots of glitches and things that need sorting. That is because the old one had lots of tweaks and settings wheras the new one was set up with default settings and I've tried my best to change them to the old settings through guesswork (as the old forum was completely destroyed in the crash).

 

So, there are lots of quirky things happening - posts not displaying in newest first order, the registration page not working and log-in problems to name a few. I would not be surprised if this was a setting to close threads after a certain time or similar.

 

So, in short, PLEASE bear with us. I am fully aware the site is not perfect yet but at least it is a functioning forum which it wasn't when the whole site crashed and was destroyed.

 

Like the search for a new manager, your patience on these things is really appreciated!
