Chris Brunt is a player who always seems to give 100% for his club. One of the lesser lights of the Prem.

The person who did this should be banned for life, no excuses. I noticed that one of the crowd was taunting Brunt and

calling him over. Brave man , standing behind 5 stewards. Thought this kind of thing went out with the 70's/80's .

I never understand this sort of behaviour. I can only assume that the perpetrator has little between his ears - there is no other rational explanation. Does anyone remember when Luis Figo left Barcelona for Real Madrid and had to face the Barca fans when he returned to the Nou Camp. Every time he went to take a corner he had all sorts of stuff chucked at him culminating in a pig's head!
