and the ones dishing out - thumbs for wishing people merry Xmas... we know who you are... BAH humbug

Why not get rid of the minus thumbs thing altogether then, or are you (singular, as not all moderators are the same) now saying people can only use it on certain threads and you will be watching to see where it is used, despite the fact you say you don't celebrate Christmas. Big brother comes to OVF ?

The thumbs down thing has outlived its use anyway, but I will say that if someone has been obnoxious, deceitful and a pain all year it will take more than an insincere and pathetic commercial Christmas thread (from someone who said he isn't a Christian, so can only be into Christmas for its monetary and excess side, also started far too early) to make up for it. And I'll say it openly. NOW you can bring on the thumbs down.

Must admit I did like Bookworms post no 16 though.

Might have salmon Geo or could have meat loaf, very tasty.Last year I had a very large gammon joint done in the oven,(cider vinegar kills the grease),absolutely delicious. No doubt I will die like everyone else but it wont be from malnutrition.enjoy.

I used to make a meat loaf with carnation milk in it... but not for 25/12... I had a big chunk of Stilton and a kilo of grapes one year

Whatever you decide to have enjoy it mate
