First away day bar West Brom of the season 17 quid for me 5 quid for lad and 5 quid for nephew .

Going on train Derby first ,i go for the day out the football well i dont expect to much .

All the away games i went last season.defeats i think bar Coventry and Notts County.

Chesterfield ,Preston ,Fleetwood ,Mk Dons ,Sheffield Utd ,nothing much shout about on.the pitch but still enjoyed the day as always .

Looks like i aint missed much so far this season away but decided i aint going go as many due to lad always wanting come and it costing me a fortune .

Wondered what Page overall record is away from home noticed all them defeats i listed Vale failed to score and he was the manager.

He needs to play a system away which gets Vale scoring cause when u taking a good percentage of your home crowd they deserve to be entertained at the very least.

Well after 12 games last season we had 12 points, so far this season we've got 16 points after 12 games. I think Page as won about 7 league games away from home as Vale manager. So the football is better, but the results still see the same.

£17 ticket, £10 transport, say 15 pints all day and night @ £3 pint = £45 for ale, £10 say for the bookies, £5 kebab house, and £5 taxi home =£92.

 

You will be putting in a decent shift if you manage 15 pints during the course of the day,

 

Though saying that for Bury away it didn't seem to difficult to sink a good 5-6 pints in Manchester city centre before the game and we had a fair few after the game aswell. Quickly adds up I guess.

 

Away days do cost a fortune, especially when you use the occasion as a 'social' and catch up with your mates, which admittedly myself and many of my mates seem to do.
