If you watch the highlights of the Alty game, Johnson boots the ball against another Vale player and it falls kindly to their striker. It was an error on his part, but not as calamitous as everyone makes out. I've seen lots worse over the years!

 

 

Agreed.. I didn’t go to the game but WOW some people have overreacted! The only thing I think is he shouldn’t have come as far as he did but the defence did look high up the pitch.

Some people have actually questioned his progress as a player based on this? Really?

Johnson made a save against Bolton that most keepers wouldn't have got near to.I think he needs a bit more game time and just up his concentration.The ability is there.If Kenny played on Saturday and ****ed up ,what then?Oh never mind he's the saviour.

Best thing for Johnson at the minuite would be to go on loan at a league 2/ top end confrence side to get first team experience for a season. Get Paddy Kenny in for us this season and then see where we are with Johnson come summer 2016. I think he will be a good keeper in time, but i think he really needs to get some game time in, id rather that be with another team at this stage.
