Season ticket sales

if 3,000 is the number we sell its acceptable.. it has to be.. but I wouldnt call it satisfactory when we have to cut the budget to live within the restrictions

You have to look at the bigger picture, the proximity of Stoke, their ticket prices, their success, our poor form at home last season, an uninspiring choice of manager, the fact Stoke is a poor area and general apathy of some misogs. If the manager gets it right the casual / success chasing fans will come back to join us ST holders through the season.

It seems the chairmans decision regarding the budget is being proven pretty much on the money (pun intended!).

It will satisfy the budget set to the FL. Satisfactory to me isn't necessarily satisfactory to others.

If you aren't satisfied whats the answer, you can't make fans go?

Of course you can, not directly but you can make them want to go. Give them some decent performances and some decent results with some passion and commitment, give them a decent experience on the day, some decent entertainment for a decent price.

It has to be acceptable if thats all we get but unless the numbers allow us to expand our budget as opposed to shrinking it it cant be satisfactory... if 3,000 is satisfactory the future looks bleak

A big well done to the faithful who have brought there season tickets .

Grant Purkiss ,Kelly Streete, foley all unknowns who r hopefully top notch.

Ive read Smurf saying unless u buy ya season tickets we wont have the strikers we need ,in my case im a single working dad of two ,i dont have savings I live week to week and after all me outgoings have very little left.

I want us have a good season but there aint many folk who can pull whatever it costs for a season ticket out of fresh air .

:wagging: My first priority is to me and mine not smurf, page or port vale... what other people do with their money is for them to decide, which is as it should be.... I put my money where it is safe, accessible and useable... I dont need to succeed, thats for toothless budgies :woot:

it's nice when you can put your hand on a few quid, I'd use money if I had some:(

Rather than fans telling fans to buy ST's, should there not be some sort of buzz being built by the club that makes everyone think that they must get one?

I appreciate smurf and page have done well with the couple of new faces, but there doesn't appear to be much of a season ticket campaign.

we could do with a bubbly blonde 30 something CEO like Wrexham have, bet that would generate some interest,it would generate my interest certainly.

Looking forward to Saturday. Going to the bank, withdrawing £350 worth of crisp notes, head up to the ticket office and exchange it for a season ticket. Might even pop down to Burslem after and have a swift one with the change. Everyone's happy.
