ok heres my positive, I think we need 5pts to be safe, we have a habit every now & then of throwing a spanner in someones works, mayve that could be MK & then perhaps Preston...we have been party poopers before.

Both Preston and Franchise know they can't afford a slip up so as long as we are still in the game in the last quarter their defences are both suspect.

 

We will get at least a point from one of those games and as we are better away from home then we will win at either A funny or Yeovil and will go into the last game already on 52 points which may make the Fleetwood game irrelevant.

If this forum is an accurate gauge on Vale fans' mood at the moment, it is grim reading.

 

I for one am fed up with reading all the doom and gloom - it actually feels like some people would revel in a relegation for some perverse reason.

 

So.....let's look at 5 positives that we can use for a different slant on things;

 

1. We still have 15 points to play for

2. We have 3 home games - despite our recent slump, that has to be worth something

3. We are not in the bottom four

4. Our fate is still 100% in our hands

5. We finish at home - every club in trouble would ask for that

 

If you can't add to this with a positive, please don't bother.....there's plenty of other places for pessimism and negativity!!

good positive post however....

 

1. we are PORT VALE

2. our players are shockingly bad and have let page down a lot recently.

3. our chairman has backed the management with hard cash and were struggling

4. our players were poor in league 2 - must get rid in the summer

5. we deserve better than this shower next season

 

so I have 1 point to make from this....

 

next summer, GET RID OF THE DEADWOOD (including glover and grew)
