So we're working on the basis that if we lose three in a row we change manager now then?

 

Of course I'm not happy we've got no points from the last three games, but I wouldn't sack Page because of it, same as I wouldn't have give him a five contract when he recently won four out of five.

I think it brings an exciting end to the season, it gives us something to play for,much better than being safe in mid table,this would be too boring by far!!

A derogatory/belittling comment based on fact may be acceptable at limes but a derogatory/belittling comment based on a gut feel or events about which you obviously know nothing is never acceptable.

Until it's proven otherwise this is my opinion so accept it. Page is grateful for his start in management and Smurthwaite is now more involved in recruitment and being a mouthpiece for all that goes on. My opinion isn't based on fresh air.

 

Very few Chairmen feel the need to comment on 'this kid' and 'that kid'. That's the managers domain.

 

This scenario with the new striker (if he existed) - by spouting off and then withdrawing the offer he was messing about with Page's plans not just the fans emotions.
