Board Supporters Why??

I am finding increasingly that anyone who posts pro-Board comments does so whilst claiming that they will be abused for doing so. Can we please ensure that this thread does not contain even a hint of abuse of any pro-Board poster. If you have an alternative viewpoint to offer to such a post, then attack the post, not the poster. Ta!

Completely agree, tried to edit my thread to say this but missed the opportunity to do so.

Genuinely I would like to know people's opinions.

I'm sure if there were any good reasons we would have heard them by now.

Infact, not being funny but if there were any reasons the more intelligent posters on here would have made them known, instead of thoughts to the contrary!

Why should people who are attempting to destroy the club be ignored. ****** to that. And arseholes , and anything else.

I think the current board are doing a good job in exceptionally difficult circumstances during a dire financial climate – looks like we'll make a profit this season, hopefully promotion on the cards, an appointment of a CEO to freshen up the current structure and bring some fresh idea's to the table and actively looking for new investment into the club.

I think it's only right that they scrutinize any potential bids/offers properly and if for whatever reason Mo doesn’t tick all the boxes then it is totally correct for them to reject such an offer – after all I don't think theirs any disputing that they only have the interests of Vale at heart.

So what do you personally think of Mo's offer...which is out their in the public domain for all to see?

This isn't an attempt to bash you in anyway, but what do you base your opinion on, what you read or hear in the local media or other things?

Reason I ask is that I can pick holes in quite a lot of what you have said so I am interested to hear why you think differently. From my point of view;

1. Why do you think they are doing a good job whether the financial climate is dire or not? They have lost over a million pounds over the last 3 years and taken us to being nearly insolvent, to me that isn't doing a good job.

2. What makes you think we will make a profit, because Bill says so? I bet you we don't.

3. The CEO, when will the new yes man be in place? If we were going to have one why isn't he in place. Do you think any new CEO will be listened to or that the club will fund any new ideas? Evidence to date suggests not.

4. Where is the evidence the board are actively seeking investment? 8 Years on and only donations received to date but credible investors turned away with no real reasons given.

5 re "I think it's only right that they scrutinize any potential bids/offers properly and if for whatever reason Mo doesn’t tick all the boxes then it is totally correct for them to reject such an offer ". In principal I agree, but where is the evidence that they have ever done this? All the evidence points to exactly the opposite, ignoring or messing potential investors about until they go away is more their style.

6. And finally "after all I don't think theirs any disputing that they only have the interests of Vale at heart" I think that based on their past and current actions this statement can very much be disputed.

I look forward to you putting some meat on the bones of your thoughts.

Regards Tim

As an exile, unfamilar with local political ties, could there be any difference between MC and the puppet master? Not that it should matter. Everything raised by pro-boarders and WUMs has fallen for lack of facts. The fear of change argument has been well aired. But rumour mongering carries on, and no doubt will increase, but facts are hard to come by.

great addition to the debate.

Thank you

Personally, I cannot believe that anyone can seriously believe what he has written without being either:

a) The board or friends of the board/given freebies by the board

or b) In a coma for the last years

Seriously all the facts are out there and have been for a long time, anyone who is still Pro-Board to me is 99% likely to be a) as there really is no arguments for the board other than at one time they did save the club (although they are clearly destroying it now) so why still believe all the lies that have been proven wrong? Why reiterate the same old lies the board have said and have been proved wrong?

The mind truly boggles and I can only come to the conclusion that if Bambell still feels the same after hearing Tim's reply he is either a) or on a wind up

They are doing so well, that they have forgotten to give the shareholders a chance of giving thier Business Plan a rousing endorsement at an EGM, as promised at the AGM in December
