The record win in the Football League is 13-0

Newcastle United beat Newport County 13-0 in the Second Division on 5 October 1946. Jacko was there, she will vouch for it.:D

Not only was I there, I played up front and scored six on my debut. In those days I played under the name of Len Shackleton to avoid problems with the FA!

Boundary Park Oldham is just 6 feet, above sea level, higher than Vale Park.So if you are over 6 ft tall would your head be higher up than Boundary Park if you are at the game tonight?WBA(we wuz robbed) is the highest,Oldham second and Vale third.

That depends on which website you look at. I believe Vale is the second highest ground in the league.

"According to Simon Inglis's definitive work, Football Grounds Of Britain, the three highest grounds above sea level belong to West Bromwich Albion, Port Vale and Oldham Athletic.

The Hawthorns - built in 1900 - is the highest of the lot, standing at 551 feet above sea level. Next comes Vale Park (525 feet) and Boundary Park (509 feet)."
