I havnt been that impressed by him to be fair, he's a big strong lad, but doesn't seem to work that hard in running and creating space, and doesn't get that many shots away, although the service to up top has been pretty poor. Hoping he gets a couple of goals, has a surge in confidence and gets some fitness to prove me wrong.

How many times have you seen him play? Other than the Coventry game he's been excellent, and is actually very greedy and always getting shots away. As far as I'm concerned it's a very good signing.

"Hoping he gets a couple of goals, has a surge in confidence and gets some fitness to prove me wrong." (unionOO)

,,,I hope so too, but he has been here since Oct 23rd. He has trained regularly and has made 8 first team appearances. I realise that he missed pre-season training (unless he did it elsewhere) and that will have an effect, but how long will it be before he 'gets fit?' Or is this the best he gets, fitness wise?

Personally, I think we are past the time where he/anyone else can use his fitness level as an excuse/reason for his performances.

I agree valiant_593, he's been really good other than the Coventry game where the whole team didn't turn up. Thought he had really good games at Gillingham and Crawley last week. I'm glad he has signed on for a longer period.

Well that's another 4 games iv seen him play after I had stated my opinion on him, nothing has changed IMHO, he's not what we need - someone who is going to poach goals, and he doesn't do graft side of the game either.

I think under Page our tactics, our formation and shape, our defence and our midfield have all come on leaps and bounds, the only thing we are missing is a finisher, which is a shame with what - 4/5 strikers at the club? This is where we should look to stretghten in January.

What are others thoughts?....

I must admit I'm not 100% sure on him yet. He looks a decent player but at the same time looks a liability. I can;t make my mind up. He's 6 foot but the only time I saw him jump was in the penalty area (admittedly getting a couple of great headers away) so maybe it's time to stick him up top and not on the wing.

I hate the goal kick tactic we seem to have adopted with him in the side.
