I don't blame a sharp businessman for trying to get a guaranteed return on his money. But why didn't he go back to Sims/MC and tell them what was on offer to see if they could match it?

I have no time for double-dealing folk like that. There are enough of 'em on the Board.

They realised clearly that the game was up two days ago and have spent all hours that god sent trying to buy shares off people to remain at the helm. Very clever, sly behaviour.

 

We are not dealing with normal folk here but men who will cling on to power come high or hell water.

 

I think Mr Lee's days at Vale Park are numbered. He will not be welcomed back.

If it was indeed about selling to the highest bidder then you would of have expected RL to have gone back to Mo and invited him to improve his offer and start a bidding war.

Rob Lee has done nothing wrong.....he wanted to get his money back for his shares, this was made clear ages ago. He obviously had no opinion on who should run the club and was willing to sell his shares to Mo but the board came along and offered him more money. What is wrong with that??, he never said he wanted the board out or he wanted Mo in. Everyone having a go at him are wrong just like the pro board having a go at him if he sold the shares to Mo. It was a clever move by the board and not handled well by Mo's party because I'm sure this would never have happened if Mo's team had not come out in public with what had been agreed with Rob Lee. Get over it, lets move forward with what we've got, and thats a lot better than what we had yesterday.

Legally yes...though we still dont know who bought them. However, it still doesn't mean he isn't a ****. It takes some doing to make yourself more hated than peter jackson, but Mr Lee has excelled himself and shown anything is possible if you stoop low enough.

The club is more split than it was before. Down to the actions of a few desperate men who showed true disregard for the fans. All that yesterday did for me was fully justify and ensure that I will never step into vale park until they are gone.

Broxap is owned by two brothers: Robert & John Lee.

 

Robert is supposedly a Vale fan and John is a Stoke fan.

 

They spend an equal amount on sponsorship at each club per year.

Furthermore if it was about the money why not contact Mo and advise him of the improved offer and see if he wanted to make another bid - particularly given the significant dialogue between the two of them in the run up to the initial agreement?

Being as you mention about being honourable then why has BB not resigned as he has promised many time's.
